My Summer Morning Non-Negotiables:

With the glorious summer sun greeting us each morning, it’s the perfect time to embrace an invigorating morning routine that leaves us feeling revitalized and ready to seize the day. Today, I’m sharing my three summer morning non-negotiables and the incredible benefits each brings to our overall well-being. Ready? Let’s dive in!

1. Bask in 20 Minutes 1. of Morning Sunlight

There’s something truly magical about the morning sun – it’s a gentle reminder that every day is a new beginning. Starting my day with 20 minutes of sunlight exposure has proven to be a game changer. Besides the psychological boost, morning sunlight helps regulate our internal body clock, known as the circadian rhythm. This sunlight-induced regulation improves our sleep quality and mood.

Moreover, early morning sunlight is an excellent natural source of Vitamin D, crucial for bone health, immune function, and inflammation reduction. So go ahead, take your morning coffee or tea outside and soak up that golden light!

Pro Tip: Use this time to walk your dog, do your sun salutations or meditation.

2. Sip on 16 oz of Celery Juice

Next up in my morning routine is sipping on 16 oz of fresh celery juice. This verdant elixir is packed with a host of benefits. Celery is a powerhouse of antioxidants and beneficial enzymes, not to mention it’s rich in vitamins and minerals like Vitamin K, Vitamin C, potassium, and folate.

Finally, I wake up my body with three rounds of Sun Salutations. This timeless yoga sequence is perfect for morning practice as it helps to awaken and energize your body. As you flow through each pose, you’re increasing blood circulation, enhancing flexibility, and building strength. Moreover, synchronizing your movement with your breath during the Sun Salutations promotes mindfulness, preparing you mentally for the day ahead.
